Weekend Getaway

For the past year I've been working in a design school, a work environment that is very unique.
A big part of that is the annual vacation for all the 100 and some workers.
This year was no exception, and we got to go to an amazing boutique hotel in Northern Israel.
A hotel rich in history, and art. Two of my favorite things.

The hotel is located in Zikhron Ya'acov (meaning -  "Jacob's Memorial"), south of the city Hifa.
It was founded in 1882 by Jewish pioneers and was named after The Baron Edmond Benjamin James de Rothschild's brother.

But enough about the city's history, and more about the hotel!
The hotel "ELMA" used to be a relaxation center, build in 1968. It's Architecture granted it's designer, Jacob Rachter the Israeli prize of Architecture. Over the years the place has been forgotten, but just two month's ago it has been re-opened as an 'Art and boutique hotel'.

The hotel entrance offers an amazing view of art and amazing interior design

The rooms are located outside of the main building, in a small neighborhood-like arrangement.

The hotel offers a Spa service for either a due or a single guest, right next to the pool.
With a waiting room viewing the amazing view the hotel has to offer. Hands down, the best massage I have had in a while!

If you want to experience art and amazing summer weather in the middle east, this hotel is defiantly recommended. The food is incredible and the view's fantastic!

Where are you going on vacation this summer?

Lots of love, Sol. xx
